Food is always very good. Service gets a thumbs up as well. Prices fit the quality, amount, and taste of the meal. Restaurant is clean and comfortable. Its a most try if you havent and a place to add to your fav restaurant.

This is hands down the best BBQ/smokehouse in this area! The brisket is my favorite! The sides are delicious and the desserts are the perfect ending to your visit. I always recommend this little hidden gem to BBQ lovers.

Absolutely delicious food. The Beef Brisket is outstanding. Very tender. The corn casserole and baked beans very yummy 😋 Was there Saturday with a church group of 20. Every one loved their food. Husband and I went back Sunday. Large portions, good prices. Early bird specials before 5 pm. SOOO good. Try it, you will be glad you did.

Tasty brisket sandwich on a fresh ciabatta roll, and really good Mac and cheese. Staff are all so friendly! Great job with social distancing.

Wonderful meal today...4 of us with different orders...the brisket was outstanding with just the right amount of smoke, ribs tender, side dishes homemade and tasty. Some very original starters..Great version of jalapeno poppers..don't miss the moinks! Really appreciated the super attentive service and all the extra effort to be covid19 safe...Thanks again..can't wait to come back.

Great smokehouse cooking. If you're a smoke lover this place is for you. Great sides also collards and corn bread are great. A very friendly and courteous staff that make sure you are given top notch service to go along with the top notch food. Great St. Louie style ribs not those make believe baby backs.

Best barbeque I've ever had. I do NOT like brisket. I've never found a place where it wasn't dry and bland. This place has the most moist, delicious beef brisket you could find. The pork is just as amazing. And the SIDES. That corn casserole and macaroni and cheese. 😍 Not to mention the amazing service you get from this family ran business. AMAZING. 🙌😋

Best BBQ. This place really packs em in for good reason. The food was really great and the staff was up beat and accommodating all the while working in a hectic crowded environment. If you are looking for a peaceful dining experience you wont find it hear, but if you are looking for great southern BBQ and great service they are spot on. Pack your patience you may have to wait a few to get in because its a small space but definitly worth the wait!

BEST ribs!! I will say I was shocked! Clean, the staff there were friendly very kind and helpful. I haven't had great service like that in a while. But them ribs. Them ribs were freaking awesome!!! Gotta get some ribs when you go here!

5/5 A+ would recommend to a friend (in fact I have recommended it to several already, including my parents), would eat again tomorrow if I wasn't worried about my waistline. $21 got us a fat slab of brisket, ribs (I think it's 3 ribs but the guy threw in an extra, thanks!), a pile of pulled pork, two pieces of cornbread, two moinks (bacon- and bbq sauce-covered meatballs with mozzarella inside), and three delicious sides. It was all very good -- the ribs were superlatively smokey and the brisket was falling off my fork. The line moved quickly and our server was so sweet!

Spent 50$ trying to get some good bbq. Noticed our order was wrong when we got home 30 mins away , tried to call right away but line was busy . Called later on and told them they forgot our drinks , gave us a wrong side and brisket instead of ribs . Was only offered a free side for next time . The drinks alone are worth more than that . So disappointed I expected more from this place . Usually not one to complain but now I Will not go back.

We had our concerns coming from Kansas City and knowing good barbecue... but we had NO reason to be concerned! This is AMAZING food! The meats and the sides. This place should be called Brisket Heaven!

Great BBQ. Brisket and pork, both moist, nice smoke and absolutely delicious. The mac n cheese is the creamiest around, the corn casserole, beans, slaw fantastic too. Sweet tea is definitely sweet and home brewed. Very friendly staff and really clean restaurant. Do yourself a favor and stop, you'll be happy, it's so worth the u-turn!

This has got to be the best Family owned Bar-B-Que restaurant within 100 miles....Best I've had in quite a while. Not commercialized at all. Amazingly fast service. She took my order and within 3 minutes my food was being placed on my table. I thought they made a mistake and was bringing me someone else's order!🤣 Food was amazing. Very clean for a bar-b-que joint. I would give them 10 stars if Google would allow it....Over the top experience. Definately recommend! Little did I know the man who started it all... was sitting right next to me!🤠 Great job man!

First time ever attending today 5/16/20.Took the family for lunch, gotta tell you, folks, they have the BBQ game down! The family was blown away! Food was GREAT, service GREAT! And the staff omg top-notch today, can not say enough! Just go you will see!

My boyfriend and I recently visited and were incredibly happy with our decision. I believe we ordered the Papa's Special and it was delicious! It was $21 and we shared it. Plus, we each still had enough to have one more meal a piece with the leftovers! This place is a must try! The customer service was great too!

A true smoke, BBQ place. Absolutely outstanding. Great prices, huge portions and helpful staff. The restaurant is spotless. Do not pass up this place. Appears to be a local favorite. Check the hours to be sure they are open when you plan to visit. Just a wonderful experience.

Go to here. This place is great. No frills, down-home, family-owned ambience. You order at the counter and they bring out your food. Really good barbecue. Friendly, kind service. It was our first time there and one of the staff came out to offer help and guidance. We had the feast and 4 of us ate until we were full and we able to eat again later that day with the leftovers. The vegetarian in our group had several sides and left fully satisfied. The brisket is wonderful. The ribs and pulled pork were also tender and very flavorful. The best side we had was the corn casserole. They have 3 house sauces that are all great, and some commercial brand if you don't like what's on the table, but you can eat everything sauce free and that's a true test of good barbecue.

Dry brisket even off the fat end. Massively greasy corn casserole. Pretty bland greens. Only saving grace was the ribs and customer service. Second time I've beem there. They need to lower the temp on the smoker and go for a few more hours. They for sure have a bit of work to do.

First time visit today! WOW!!! The food was excellent to say the least! We had the brisket, it did not need the BBQ sause. Having it again tomorrow! New favorite BBQ place!

Excellent BBQ Restaurant! Meals are prepared as you order at the counter. Everyone was very pleased with their meals. As a test I ordered the Fried Cod Special. It was also excellent. Artman's sides are as good as their BBQ. It looks like a counter service restaurant, but the staff is very attentive getting/refilling drinks, clearing plates, and satisfying your every need. I highly recommend this restaurant.

This was basically a religious experience...the same way people walk out of church is how i walked out earlier today. Bless the people who prepared and served me this delicious trophy of a meal. I feel first place today. Amen

We have been enjoying their food for years. I can tell you that they put a lot of time and effort into perfecting their sauces and rubs. They are a family run business with pride in their work. Everything is awesome and my family devours it. The brisket has become a Christmas family tradition. Great casual place to take visitors. You'll never be disappointed!

My family and I went there and they were awesome. I got there ahead to ask if they would bring a cake out for my Mom's birthday. They did more than expected. The food was great. I had the pulled chicken. They brought the cake out for my Mom and lit the candle. We all sung and it was great. Thank you.Visit this place if you want great BBQ.

Let me start by saying the way the two young men handled the glove and facemask safety was very reassuring thats why we decided to give it a try after not eating out for close to 2 months. The food was incredible! I wish we had a place like this closer to home, the brisket was so juicy and tender , the corn casserole and broccoli casserole were so delicious. We had the early bird specials which were only $9.99 andit was the perfect amount of food. Cant wait to be back

Was in the area passing thru. Artman Country Smoke house came up when I searched for local restaurants. We both got the Brisket, it was really good and so we're the sides. We will stop there again when in the area..

Got the Papa's special... Enough for two hungry people. My brother got the same. We ordered Mac and cheese... Italian green beans and Cole slaw for sides. The whole meal was like a kaleidoscope of flavors exploding in your mouth. Everything was Awesome. I took half of the meat home for tomorrow. Can't wait. Friendly staff and food came out in ten minutes. This restaurant does live up to its hype.

Artman's is the best for briscuit. I discovered this place when I was house hunting in Summerfield. Their baked beans and Cole slaw are delicious. Their sampler platter is the best way to go on your first trip there. Enjoy!

We come here whenever we are nearby- and my hubby is a real BBQ aficionado. Love the brisket. My husband made a special trip here to enter a chili contest and won with that yummy beef brisket in it. The moinks are good as well as the poppers. Highly recommend!

Amazing local BBQ! Definitely better than all that other BBQ in the Villages area. It's got that Texas style smoke taste, with great flavor for the side dishes as well. The sauces are delicious too. I'll be back again and again so that I can sample everything on the menu.
